Issey Miyaké thought about creating a perfume that was “as clear as spring water”, combining the spray of waterfall, the fragrance of flowers and the scent of springtime forest. L’Eau d’Issey achieved great popularity, esecially in the United States in the late 1990’s. L’Eau d’Issey is an aquatic floral scent with transparent notes of lotus, freesia and cyclamen and juicy melon. The middle notes of peony, lily and carnation reveals the perfume’s character. The base notes are refined woody scent with notes of cedar, sandal, musk and amber. The nose behind this fragrance is Jacques Cavallier and it was launched in 1992.

Recommended for daytime during the spring and summer months.

Top notes: cyclamen, rose water, melon, freesia, lotus, rose and calone

Middle notes: carnation, lily, water peony and lily of the valley

Base notes: exotic woods, tuberose, amber, sandalwood, musk, osmanthus and cedar

Eau de Parfum – Aroma oils, which range from 8% to 15% of the solution

Eau de Toilette – Aroma oils, which range from 4% to 8% of the solution

Eau de Cologne – Aroma oils, which range from 3% to 5% of the solution

Store your perfumes, EDPs, EDTs and/or colognes out of any/all sunlight and in a cool to room temperature area. This will help them last longer, as heat and sunlight breakdown the solutions.
